That colour is great! -- Got some spare time? If so, please come visit my Gallery! [link] =SkyAndNatureClub *Shutter-Vision *Capture-That You're sure about the right collection?
I don't think, that this shot (ok, the sky maybe...) is depressive -- no names, no places - only faces... *monotheism this reminds me of the HDR photo that got a DD that we all went mental about because it was sooooooo bad. LOL don't scream yet DC...This is the way it should of been, in fact you should send this off to the admin who suggested that rubbish and say "here, this is HDR this is the way its done, lets see how this jumps off your monitor, you color blind...f**K."
If you get my point that is great stuff DC, one thing...how do you get so much detail without burning up the image...I have tried many times and I can only have mild sane looking images or burnt out images with no fair balance. Help!!! -- visit my web page :[link] |

Critiques
Love the colors and contrast of the 2 buildings. The HDR effect is also well balanced, the amount of noise is just right. I really like the feel of this piece.
I try to visualise the sky being darker and I think it will look better.
Another thing is the cropping of the picture. I would love to se e more of the buildings, both left and right but the focus of this piece is already awesome. You really nail it.
Thumbs up!
The thumb got me interested, but in full size i could see the real quality of this photo got.
HDR/Tonemapping often leads to artifacts and grain, you seem to have found the perfect balance, not overkilling the image, but giving it that something extra.
Not a original image, but the main thing is that it looks great.
the slight vignette and the glow in the yellow draws your attention right to where you want it to be.
Green/yellow is a great color combination.
Keep up the good work
