What is the Advanced Critique Feature and how do I use it?

:bulletred:The Critique feature is not a means to show off your vanity and arrogance, nor it is meant to start flaming discussions. It is not an escape for your personal frustrations and Freudian anal issues.

:bulletblue:The Critique system on deviantART is designed to help artists get in-depth, critical feedback and commentary on their work. Valued feedback through Critique promotes creative growth as an artist and draws special attention to your work. Critiques are also a way for committed art enthusiasts, connoisseurs and fans to publish real criticism, gain recognition as a Critic and introduce new and emerging art to the community.

The Critique system co-exists with the original comments system but provides a space that is designed for considered, thoughtful and RESPECTFUL criticism.

This piece shows incredible vision by the photographer! There is so much detail captured in this piece, Transfixed III does just that to the viewer, it holds you captivated and intrigued. Done in black and white HDR is a wonderful technique giving it a traditional look and feel. Upon first view, my first reaction was wow! What beautiful piece!

I do find the containers in the center of the photo a little too bright, but over all this is an excellent and well thought out deviation.

I also really love that you captured the artwork on the wall. Nice Work!

A great image... capturing a scene in which I can't imagine a better moment to have clicked the shutter. Every person in frame seems to be in a perfect location for the shot and concept to work. Use of black and white hdr gives it a slightly surreal yet down to earth look. When I see this image I think of the man in the center seeing all the younger people passing by and reminiscing about his younger days and how quick life passed him by. If there is one thing I'd recommend as improvement for this one, it would be the bright white shining light which is cast on some of the middle portion and the buckets. Some of it seems to be a bit harsh and slightly takes my eyes away from the rest of the image. That being said... this is a natural element which would be hard for you to control, so I'm not sure of a way you could have eliminated that, other than tweaking the processing. Overall an image straight from the heart, and one that I greatly identified with. It's got soul as do most of your images Damien, it's a winner... great job.

This looks more like a drawing than a photo. I like the shadows and the perspective of the mans back. Good work! =)

Somehow taking everyone else out, he looses some of his charm. I can't tell you why that is. Maybe the others around him were in such animation that it made him stand out.
