We're made of what we were as children.
Time goes by, no matter our notion of how quick or how fast. Objects remain. Places we've been - some change some don't. We're now the consequence of what we were as children. Our inner beauty must never be forgotten. to Mikey Other HDR works __________________________________________ The work contained in my gallery is Copyright © 2009 Damien C.. Its better if I just toss away the canon and buy a cheap pentax point and shoot and have done with my hard work.
This photograph by the wonderfully talented DC just proves that it takes a special kind of person to capture emotions in still life objects and still relate an emotional scene that portrays an epic story.
This photo is not just a work of art, but a complete demonstration of master photographer skills.
The light is so perfectly balanced, the colors holding warm memories, the items positions all relating a story as the stone walls and wooden floor encompass the story's theme.
The screw bit from the floor raises questions and curiosities that force the viewer to seek answers within as we start to picture in our minds eye the milk churning away to make creams and butters for sale in some hilly village somewhere far far away.
The bicycles add a touch of urgency to the story as the shelf life of the dairy products is so small requiring speed to get the produce to the customer, though a horses reins would of suited the image better the bicycles really provoke a twist in the visual story.
DC said I would love this place, and I can understand why, its just that its so far away, so for now I'll listen to its stories through the eye of DC's skills and photography mastery.
